PT Paiton Energy – Disaster Relief for Cianjur Earthquake    

On December 15, 2022, Paiton Energy (PE) went to Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) / Red Cross office to hold a formal hand-over on our donations to Cianjur Earthquake happened on November 21, 2022.  

Our long relationship with PMI has started since 2010 when we continuously supported PMI in their humanitarian efforts to cope with natural disasters in Indonesia. We intended to maintain this relationship as part of our commitment to Indonesian society.  

PE expressed our deepest condolences and contributed IDR 200,000,000 (two hundred million rupiah) for the survivors through PMI in overcoming these difficult times.  

In this opportunity, we handed over the donations together with our Sponsor, Mitsui & Co., Ltd, represented by PT Mitsui Indonesia. They had donated the same contribution on this occasion.

From PMI, we were received by Ibu Suryani Motik, Head of Treasurer and Letjen (Purn.) Sumarsono, Division Head of Disaster Management. As from PE, it was represented by Koichiro Miyazaki, President Director and Mrs. Dani Basuki, Corporate Affairs Manager, together with Mr. Shinichi Kikuchihara, President Director & CEO of PT Mitsui Indonesia and Mr. Noriyuki Katsunishi, Marketing Manager of General Administration Personnel & Corporate Planning Division of PT Mitsui Indonesia.
