PT Paiton Energy’s Electric Vehicles equipped with Photovoltaic devices are soon to be in operation in Ragunan Zoo, Jakarta!

This electric vehicle is part of PT Paiton Energy’s Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR activities. As an active corporate citizen, PT Paiton Energy constantly provides contribution to the local community, clean environment and prosperity to Indonesian community. The use of the electric vehicle is also encouraged by the DKI Jakarta Government as one of the steps to make Jakarta become a city with clean air and healthy environment.

Photovoltaic device or widely known as PV device, can convert solar light into electricity. PV is developed to support the Renewable Energy Utilization Program. It becomes our responsibilities, as the most respected world-class power producer, to always support the Renewable Energy Utilization Program as well as promoting the Clean Environment campaign for the better and healthy environment in Jakarta.

This activity is the collaboration between PT Paiton Energy and Ragunan Zoo who becomes our campaign partner to optimize the usage of this electric vehicle. Together, we aim to facilitate the visitors, not only to enjoy the tour in the entire zoo complex, but also to increase public awareness on the importance of protecting the environment.
